Daywise Itinerary
Day 1 Delhi / Any part of India – Jaipur
On arrival at Delhi airport /Rail station, you will be received by our professional representative, who will be waiting for an Indian traditional welcome just outside of the airport (customs area) by your nameplate/ your referral. We will drive to Jaipur, which takes around 6 hours / 260 kms. On arrival Jaipur we will check in at our pre-organised hotel and relax. Evening free to enjoy the city of joy. Welcome to Jaipur, the pink city and Rajasthan’s colourful capital with its impressive monuments, an excellent range of handicrafts, a wide variety of cuisine and entertainment. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur hotel.
Day 2 Jaipur sightseeing
Today after breakfast drive for sightseeing tour of Jaipur and start with magnificent Amer Palace, a fascinating blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture, this red sandstone and white marble palace has some very interesting apartment, the likes of which are not to be found anywhere in the country. Visit City Palace, with its fabulous museum that displays some of the most amazing treasures held by the jaipur royal family. Also visit Jantar Mantar, the unique observatory museum built by the founder of Jaipur-Sawai Jai Singh. Also visit many more historical and magnificent monuments. Back to hotel and over night stay.
Day 3 Jaipur – Bikaner
Today after breakfast embark for Bikaner, the royal fortified city and popularly called the camel country is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. The wealth of its architectural heritage lies in its fort, Palaces and temples. This city lies on the northern point of the triangle of the desert cities. On arrival at Bikaner transfer to hotel. Over night stay.
Day 4 Bikaner sightseeing tour
Today after breakfast sightseeing start with Junagarh Fort -- The Junagarh Fort, built by Rai Singh between 1588 and 1593, has a 986-metre-long wall with 37 bastions, a moat and two entrances. Situated at a height of above seven hundred feet above sea level, it towers over the city and can be seen from a distance. The fort and its palaces are profusely decorated with magnificent stone carvings. Visit Lalgarh Palace - the outstanding palace of bikaner and Built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in memory of his father also visit Gajner Palace, Ganga Golden Jubilee museum- to see the vast collection of rare exhibits covering almost every period of Indian history, Karni Mata Temple and Camel Research Farm -the government-managed Camel Research and Breeding Farm is only one of its kinds in Asia. The farm carries out breeding and training of camels. Back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 5 Bikaner To Jaisalmer
After breakfast Proceed for city of desert –Jaisalmer, the Museum city. Every house, here, is exquisitely carved, having filigreed work all over. These houses date back to 12th - 15thcentury. Nothing else in India is remotely similar to Jaisalmer. On arrivalcheck in at hotel and relax. Evening free and overnight stay.
Day 6 Jaisalmer sightseeing tour
Today after breakfast visit Golden Fort with 99 bastions - Known as SONAR QUILA or the Golden fort, rising from the sand,. Visit Salim Sing Ki Haveli - This Haveli was built about 300 years ago and a part of it is still occupied. Visit Patwon ki Haveli -- This is one of the largest and most elaborate Haveli in Jaisalmer and stands in a narrow lane also visit Gadisar Lake -- This tank, south of the city walls, once held the town water supply and befitting its importance in providing precious water to the inhabitants of this arid city, it is surrounded by small temples and shrines. Back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 7 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Today you will start your journey for Jodhpur as popularly known the Sun City. In 1459 AD, Rao Jodha, chief of Rathore clan of Rajputs, who claimed descent from Rama, the epic here of the Ramayana, laid the foundation of Jodhpur. A high stone wall protects the well-fortified city. The wall is nearly 10 km in length and has eight gates facing various directions. Reach to your hotel and check in and relax. Day 8 Jodhpur – Udaipur
Welcome to the Lake City of rajasthan –Udaipur. Founded in 1568 A.D by Maharana Udai Singh, the city is a harmonious Indian blend of whitewashed buildings, marble palaces, lakeside gardens, temples and Havelis. Check in at hotel and relax. Evening free and over night stay.
Day 9 Udaipur sightseeing tour
Today after breakfast visit magnificent fort and monuments of Udaipur city and start with the famous City Palace. City Palace towers over the Pichola Lake. Also visit Suraj Gokhada, Badi Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Bhim Vilas, Jagdish Temple, Saheion Ki Bari, Maharana Pratap Memorial. After completing the memorable tour of Udaipur city back to hotel and overnight stay.
Day 10 Udaipur – Ajmer
Welcome to Ajmer- Located in the heart of Rajasthan. Ajmer is a small town with a very interesting past. The city was founded by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 7th Century A.D. On arrival check in at hotel and relax. Vist Sagar Lake - Located towards the north of Ajmer city this beautiful lake was built by Anaji during 1135-1150 A.D, by damming the river Luni also visit Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra -- A remarkable structure, this is a masterpiece of Indo Islamic architecture located on the outskirts of the city Evening free and night halt.
Day 11 Ajmer – Delhi
Today drive back to Delhi, which takes around 08 hours / 380 kms.
Day 12 Delhi sightseeing & Transfer to Delhi airport for Fly out.
Today as per flight schedule we will cover Delhi city sightseeing tour. Visit India Gate, which is 160 feet high with an arch of 138 feet. - Built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. Visit Red Fort- the mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, after ruling from Agra for eleven years, decided to shift to Delhi and laid the foundation stone of the Red Fort in 1618. It is called so because of the red stone with which it is built, the Red Fort is one of the most magnificent palaces in the world. Visit Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Teen Murti House-this memorial was built in memory of the Indian soldiers who perished in World War I - The Teen Murti Bhavan housed the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. Also, visit shanty Van, Rashtrapati Bhawan-was completed in 1929 at a cost of 12,53,000 pound sterling, and finally Lotus Temple.
