Daywise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival airport and transfer to Hotel for acclimatization

Arrive Leh Upon arrival at Leh Airport you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Evening Visit to Leh Market & Shanti Stupa. Overnight at Hotel.  
 

Day 2 : Leh Excursion monasteries
Post Breakfast we proceed for Indus Valley Monastery tour including Shey Palace, The ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, Hemis Gompa, the largest monastic foundation of Drukpa Kagyu Order of Tibetan Buddhism, Sindhu Ghat. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 : Leh (Excursion to Pangong Lake – 14,000 ft.)
After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surrounding is under army surveillance. After spending some time at Pangong we drive back to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Leh to Nubra Valley (125 kms / Approx. 06hrs)
After an early breakfast we drive to NUBRA VALLEY leads through KHARDUNG-LA-PASS (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Arrive Sumur or Hunder by afternoon and rest of the day at leisure to explore beautiful village of Sumur & Hunder with a Visit to Diskit Monastery. Overnight stay at Camp.

Day 5 : Nubra valley to Leh
After your breakfast at the camp, visit the SAND DUNES to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Later we drive to Leh by same route over Khardung La. Afternoon rest and relax or take a walk to the local market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Leh- Tsomoriri lake
leh- Tsomoriri lake n the morning leave for Chumathang stop, which is famous for medical hot spring and people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive will take you to Maha bridge, the main checking point to enter to this new area. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Tsomoriri Lake is the breeding ground for numerous species of birds, like the bar headed goose, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown-headed gull. The Tsomorir Lake is 8 kms wide and 28 kms long. Spend the night there in the tent.

Day 7 : Tsomoriri -leh
Tsomoriri -leh In the morning, drive to Mahe village. The village is famous for the scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. Drive to Puga valley, which is famous for Butan gas. Then visit Tsokar via Polokongka pass, which is at an altitude of 4090 mts. You can also visit Thugke gompa. Continue driving towards Leh via Tanglangla pass, which is at a height of 5350 mts and is the second highest motorable pass in the world. After reaching Leh in the evening spend the night in the hotel.

Day 8 : Departure Leh ( Fly Out)
